Maxwell Presser
Dr. Presser is a PHY-1 in Surgery at UC Davis. Maxwell Presser matriculated with an MD/PhD in 2021 from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He was born in Philadelphia, PA and completed his undergraduate education at the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied Health & Societies and Korean as a Benjamin Franklin Scholar and James Joo-Jin Kim Scholar. At the University of Miami, Maxwell has held leadership positions in the Surgery and Trauma Surgery Interest Groups, community service groups, and student government. Maxwell plans to combine his clinical interests in trauma surgery and critical care with his public health passion for violence prevention and other injury prevention work as a trauma surgeon and injury prevention researcher and advocate.
