Anytime Course - HEAL 445: Get into the Rhythm: All About EKGs

Whether it's on your favorite show or in the hospital you've probably seen a "stat EKG" ordered. This asynchronous course will teach students the basics of interpreting EKG's as well as key emergency EKG strips.

Instructor

Sayari Patel

Sayari Patel is a fourth year medical student at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine earning a dual degree in public health and medicine. Raised in Kissimmee Florida she headed up a little ways north to Duke University to complete her degree in political science (go Blue Devils!). Prior to medical school she pursued her passion for sketch comedy as an Inside Joker and her love of global health collaborating with community partners in India, Haiti, and China. Her life is currently dominated by watching Celtics games, practicing saying “BAHSTAN” in the mirror, and occasionally walking around in her home with the AC uncomfortably cranked up in preparation for moving to Boston for Internal Medicine residency and to live out her public health dreams.
